Start with an accountable source
Identify the healthcare professional responsible for clinical input and record the source of every factual statement. Keep clinical claims separate from general service information. Do not use the content brief as a place to collect patient records.
Review the whole asset
A caption can change the meaning of an image. A voiceover can add a claim that is absent from the script. Review the final copy, visuals, subtitles, voice and landing page together when they form one communication.
Keep evidence with the version
Record who reviewed the asset, which version they reviewed and any conditions attached to approval. The applicable media and healthcare approval route must be established for the country and content. A professional review is not automatically a substitute for a regulatory approval.
Treat material edits as a new review
If a claim, comparison, offer or visual changes, confirm whether another review or approval is needed before publishing. Keep the approved version and the published version traceable. Requirements differ between GCC markets, so confirm the route for each country before you publish.
